Special Initiative for the Children in Israel

We're sure you've heard about the regional ceasefire—and like us are feeling relieved.

Like us, you may also know that this is when the real work begins.

We launched our Rise Israel program in the aftermath of the October 7th attacks to help young Israeli children—and their caregivers—find routine, structure, and process the very intense experience all of it has created.

Those feelings were brought back in the incredibly scary two weeks in June—where running to bomb shelters and sleeping in basements became the surreal norm.

But let us be clear—this should never be normal.

All children deserve safety, security, and access to high-quality education. That is our north star...no matter the population, faith, or nationality.

As schools—and our Rise Israel programs—start to reopen, the healing will begin again for Israeli children in need because of our programs and your support.
