Women are dying from miscarriages. 

A treatable condition. One in every five pregnancies ends in a miscarriage. An abortion is the treatment for a miscarriage. But abortion is outlawed in half of America. One in every four people that experience pregnancy at some point in their life experience a situation that requires an abortion. But abortion is outlawed in over half of America. In half of the country people are finding themselves in situations where they cannot access medical care because of these bans and it is putting them in danger. In one week we had three. A woman had a baby with a tumor that would kill both her and the baby. Abortion was the only thing that would save her life. The second was a woman who had cancer and she had to choose between a 12 week pregnancy and chemotherapy for cancer that was terminal in a year without it. Both her and the baby would die. And the third was a woman who's baby had a fetal anomaly that would lead to the baby being born and suffocating for hours to die a painful death. She didn't want that for her baby. She wanted an abortion to prevent the baby from suffering. All of these women were denied access to ethical, merciful, modern, safe medical care. These are just three of hundreds of cases we have worked with. Their stories are endless, and all of them are valid. Even the ones who just cannot be a mother right now. The teenager who is five months from graduating. Or the 14 year old who was raped. The woman who is living in her car with two children already. Or the addict currently in treatment. So many stories. So many voices. Abortion is healthcare. And healthcare is a human right. 

We provide access. We cover the cost of travel expenses to help them get to a state where they can access medical care. We cover the cost of flights, hotels, gas, and other expenses. We provided meals when they are there. We have volunteers available in the areas where the clinics are to ensure that there is someone in the area in case they have an emergency. We provide care packages with supplies that may be comforting or helpful to them. We go above and beyond to make sure these trips are safe and comfortable. We are a nonprofit, but we are more than a nonprofit. We are a support network. We are 100% volunteer based and 100% donation based. Every donation helps us continue to save lives and keep doing the work we are doing every day.
