Zed is very excited to be participating in the 2026 Osaka International Chamber Music Festa in May! This competition is one of the most prestigious competitions internationally, being a recognized member of the World Federation of International Music Competitions. As one of two groups from the USA, Zed looks forward to sharing our voice and mission with new audiences.

However, this opportunity also comes with high financial costs, including travel, lodging, and transportation fees. To make this experience possible, we are launching a fundraising campaign and we would be deeply grateful for your support. Zed is a visionary chamber ensemble dedicated to establishing the saxophone quartet as a pillar of chamber music through programming, commissioning new works by underrepresented composers, and educational engagement. Founded at the Butler School of Music at the University of Texas at Austin in 2023, Zed has gained national recognition.

Zed is comprised of Connor O’Toole, Jacob Feldman, Marina Sakellakis, and David Bennette.
