UPDATE: May 12, 2021- We just gave out our first shipment of produce- sweet potatoes and collards from North Carolina! They were very much appreciated!
Farm to Stoop is a coalition of pastors and lay persons in the Baltimore area who came together in 2020 during the pandemic to bring food to neighbors who are food insecure in the Station North area of Baltimore City in collaboration with North Ave Mission.
far, our weekly free market has grown to serve between 80 and 100 neighbors each week. It is through the dedication of our neighbors and volunteers that we are able to provide nourishment for those who call Station North their home.
is an amazing sense of community, where neighbors support neighbors and we share donated food from grocery stores as well as donated clothes and personal care items.
This summer and fall, we will supplement our food distribution by partnering with the Black Church Food Security Network, a network dedicated to providing a market for produce grown by black farmers.
Your donation will allow us to purchase produce at prices that honor farmer's work and support the preservation and legacy of black-owned farms while also supporting our city neighbors with fresh, quality produce.
consider supporting this new partnership and strengthening the impact Farm to Stoop has in the Station North area.
