I fell in love with YMCA Camp Sloper in the summer of 2004.

It's a place that kids never want to leave, because they're having so much FUN! Little do they know, that while they're having the time of their lives, they're also learning valuable lessons that will help them grow into incredible young adults.

I've seen the positive benefits of a session of camp first hand:

1. Camp friends are like no other friends on earth.
2. The thrill of hitting a bulls-eye for the first time in archery can't be replicated on a Playstation
3. Reaching the top of the tower can make you feel like you're flying.
4. Learning about the Character Values of Caring, Honesty, Respect & Responsibility every single day really sinks in after a while.

I could go on for a while!

I'm giving so that more families can comfortably send their kids off to a fun, safe place for a few days - a place where kids can just be kids.
