Women Making a Difference - 25th Anniversary Celebration

For over 25 years the Zonta Club of Malden has honored women and organizations for their work in our community. For this year's anniversary event we are honoring the following;

Massachusetts State Auditor Diana DiZoglio
The Asian TaskForce Against Domestic Violence,
Melrose Alliance Against Violence,
Portal to Hope
Respond Inc., The Malden PD Domestic Violence Unit

Each one of these honorees has made an immeasurable difference in our community as they have fought continuously to protect Women and Children from Domestic Violence.

The Zonta Club of Malden is a member of Zonta International which is a worldwide service organization working to improve the legal, political, economic, educational, health, and professional status of women through service and advocacy. The Zonta Club of Malden works to raise funds for international as well as local projects and has provided thousands of volunteer hours to improve the status of women and children. Locally, they give annual college scholarships, provide much-needed blessing bags to domestic violence victims, provide helping hands with the mobile food market, and have donated to various charitable programs within our community.
