FILM VERO's 100 Thousand Challenge: Supporting a bold new chapter in year-round film, education, and community impact.

Introducing Film Vero, the next step in the Vero Beach Film Festival’s mission to elevate storytelling as a powerful tool for education and community engagement. Now a year-round initiative, Film Vero focuses on youth, filmmakers, and local partnerships—offering screenings, workshops, and programs that support new talent, raise awareness for worthy causes, and inspire the next generation of thought leaders. 

The 2025 Vero Beach Film Festival was a tremendous success, drawing record-breaking attendance, showcasing exceptional films, and creating unforgettable experiences for our community and visiting filmmakers. The energy, engagement, and support we received reaffirmed the power of storytelling to unite people. Looking ahead to 2026, we’re building on that momentum with exciting new plans to elevate the festival even further—more films, more events, and more opportunities to connect through the art of cinema.

Education

As its first foray into education, Film Vero is proud to partner with Indian River Charter High School to launch an innovative film program that nurtures and inspires young storytellers. Together, we’re providing students with real-world, hands-on experience through the Vero Beach Film Festival—cultivating the next generation of storytellers, filmmakers, and creative leaders.

Community Engagement

Film Vero is expanding its impact by partnering with community organizations, such as The Learning Alliance, to present powerful films that ignite awareness and foster meaningful dialogue around illiteracy and educational equity. These screenings are designed to engage the community, inspire action, and advance the mission of ensuring every child has access to a quality education.

In addition to being listed on our Supporters page on our website, donations $500 and over will be recognized in our annual program guide, on the Donor Wall at our Box Office as well as on the big screen, in level order, prior to screenings at The Vero Beach Film Festival.
