I was bit in July 2024 while at work in an optical office when a newbown raccoon was brought into the office. I felt nothing or saw no rash. Symptims started with fever and headaches early to mid August. But September I was unable to work and was misdiagnosed 2 times. Said it was stress and Bells Palsy bilaterally. Wasn't until January 2025 that I finally got a proper diagnosis. But still the pain and blinding headaches endure. Dizziness, forgetfulness and major fatigue are my daily life now.
I wish this pain on no one.
