My name is Amber Martin and I am a snowboarder on the Freeride World Tour Qualifier (FWQ).

A member of the International Freeskier and Snowboarder Association (IFSA), I am in need of assistance in my pursuit of a 3rd consecutive year as Top 10 USA Women Snowboard in the FWT Qualifier overall season rankings.

Currently, I am a self-funded athlete with no monetary sponsors. This is the 1st time since my 1st FWQ season in 2021 that I am utilizing a fundraising platform- it’s my 1st time ever reaching out for help this way.

I have worked hard over the past 4 years to climb the ranks increasing my global seeding to qualify for entries into the 4 star events- the highest level of the world qualification circuit.

Higher entry fees along with relocating my home-base to the Midwest while seeking my next career move has made it financially more challenging to compete at this level, at this time.

Any assistance, monetary or otherwise- liking, commenting and sharing for visibility; networking; a spot to shower or ride-share; etc- is greatly appreciated. I am also available as a brand ambassador and able to work remotely while on tour.

The FWT Qualifier (FWQ) is a world qualification circuit designed to develop the talent and skills of up-and-coming athletes. Riders accumulate points through 60 events held worldwide. The scoring system is based on the star ranking of the qualifying events (1-4 stars) and the event regions: Region 1 (Europe, Asia, and Oceania) and Region 2 (USA, Canada, Chile, and Argentina). The top riders from each region are invited to compete in the FWT Challenger.

The FWT Challenger is the ultimate step towards qualifying for the FWT Pro circuit. The top riders from the FWT Qualifier compete against the bottom-ranked riders from the FWT tour in high-pressure events to earn a spot on the following year's FWT Pro circuit.

The FWT Pro is a worldwide circuit of freeride snowboarding and skiing. It features the best riders competing on legendary and challenging alpine faces at renowned ski resorts across the globe.
