Build a Creative Home for Artists in Los Angeles

Future Artists of Los Angeles (FALA) and the Los Angeles Community of Acting & Entertainment (LACAE) are building and sustaining a creative home in North Hollywood where artists train, collaborate, rehearse, and perform while developing real work and sustainable careers.

In September of 2025 we opened our doors turning this from a future concept to a reality with strong momentum.

Our space is active every week with classes, rehearsals, new projects, and performances. To date, we have supported over 150 artists—including actors, directors, playwrights, and producers—provided over $30,000 in subsidized training and space, and created more than 20 paid opportunities for teaching artists. This work brings together emerging artists and working professionals in the same environment, strengthening both the pipeline and the broader creative community.

The need for this work is clear. In Los Angeles, access to training, rehearsal space, and creative community is often limited by cost. Many emerging artists are left without a place to develop their craft or build meaningful connections. We are addressing that gap by maintaining a space where artists can grow, create, and build sustainable careers.

Where This Is Going

We are building on top of what already exists. As demand continues to grow, we are laying the foundation for a licensed, accredited acting conservatory in Los Angeles, one that reflects today’s diverse industry and expands access to high-level training.

At the same time, FALA will continue to operate as a nonprofit arts organization, maintaining our theatre, training programs, and community space. This dual structure allows us to serve artists at every level: supporting those just beginning while continuing to invest in working artists and the ecosystem around them.
