Día de los Muertos Cafecito 2026

Honoring Our Ancestors • Celebrating Our Culture • Building Comunidad

Día de los Muertos invites us to honor those who came before us, celebrate the lives of those we hold dear, and gather in community—with room for joy, sorrow, and everything in between.

Monday, November 2, 2026, at 5:30 PM, join the TAG Association, and Kathy Lebron of Comadres Liberadas as we gather at La SALA (2379 Washington St, Roxbury) for our Día de los Muertos Cafecito: a community celebration through food, storytelling, and ancestral remembrance.

Kathy will facilitate a fluid experience, introducing our community altar before inviting participants to place photos of loved ones who have passed. Throughout our time together, we’ll make space for reflection, grief, gratitude, and celebration. Learn more about Kathy and her incredible work by visiting her instagram (@comadresliberadas), LinkedIn, or her website msha.ke/kathylebron.

Bring a photo, bring a memory, something to share, bring yourself. Whether you are grieving, celebrating the love and lessons someone left you, or joining to connect and learn, you are welcome.

This is a free community-building event. Guests will enjoy light refreshments and the warmth of community. Registration is required and space is limited. All donations collected through this page will go toward event costs — they are so appreciated.

✨ Bonus! All registered attendees will be entered to win a free ticket to El Jolgorio Navideño, New England’s largest Latino holiday gala!

We were never meant to carry grief alone. We can hold remembrance—and joy—together.
