Nine Futures Start Here... One Final Journey

Some angels show up when it matters most.

This incredible mama did everything she could to keep her eight babies alive.

Hidden beneath a rock near a quiet lake house, she built the safest shelter she could find. It wasn't much, but it was enough to keep hope alive.

Every day was about survival.

Finding food.

Keeping eight tiny bellies full.

Listening for danger.

Wondering if tomorrow would come.

Then the right family showed up.

While enjoying time together at their lake house, they discovered something they never expected. Instead of walking away, they got dirty.

They grabbed whatever they could find to help.

Together, they carefully freed one frightened mama and eight tiny puppies from beneath the rocks, making sure every single one made it safely into caring hands.

To this amazing family...

Thank you.

You didn't just rescue nine dogs.

You changed nine futures forever.

You truly earned your angel wings.

And to our incredible friends at Bubba Dog...

Thank you for answering the phone with what rescue people know is the most dangerous sentence in the world:

"Sure... we'll take one more."

Which, as it turned out, became...

"Sure...we'll take nine more."

That's rescue.

But we never say no.

Hope For Cleo Animal Rescue is honored to help write the next chapter of this family's story.

Soon, mama and her eight beautiful puppies will begin the long trip from Arkansas to Long Island.

Their final journey.

Not because their story is ending.

Because their old life finally is.

Right now, mama is exhausted and battling a tick-borne illness. As soon as her puppies are weaned, she'll begin the treatment she needs.

Until then, she finally gets to experience something she's probably never had.

The chance to simply be a mom.

Without wondering where the next meal will come from.

Without searching for shelter.

Without living in fear.

Her puppies will never have to spend another night hidden beneath a rock.

No more hunger.

No more fear.

No more surviving.

From this point forward, there will be warm beds.

Full bellies.

Veterinary care.

Soft blankets.

Safe foster homes.

And one by one...

Families who will love them for the rest of their lives.

This is what your donations make possible.

Long before the adoption photos...

Long before the Happy Tail Photos...

There are emergency transports.

Health certificates.

Veterinary exams.

Vaccinations.

Parasite treatment.

Medication.

Food for a nursing mama.

Supplies for eight growing puppies.

Sleepless nights.

Bottle feedings when needed.

Countless volunteer hours.

Every rescue begins with someone saying, "Yes...We'll help."

If you'd like to be part of this family's second chance, please consider making a donation, volunteering, fostering or maybe even eventually giving one of these furbabies a furever home.

It's with your help we transform stories of survival into stories of hope.

Together, we're proving that the smallest acts of kindness can create the biggest miracles.

They just don't know it yet.
