The Red & Black is on a mission to Beat Florida in a head-to-head Rivalry Fundraising Challenge!

We are competing against the Independent Florida Alligator from Oct. 19 to kickoff of the GA/FL Game on Saturday, Oct. 31, 3:30 p.m. EST to raise money to support our independent newsrooms. Funding student newsrooms is a challenge. Both student newspapers are independent nonprofits committed to offering journalism training to the students they serve. From October 19th to kickoff on Ocotber 31st, The Alligator and The Red & Black will be challenging their alumni to donate to their news operations. The losing newsroom will pay tribute to the winner by placing the winner's logo the front page for a print edition.
