Every Bridge Begins With One Person Who Believes

Think back to the first time you arrived somewhere new. The unfamiliar streets. The name people struggled to pronounce. The quiet question you carried with you every day: Will I belong here?

For thousands of families across Arkansas, that question is not a memory. It is today.

It is the engineer who crossed an ocean for a job in Bentonville, leaving parents behind. It is the restaurant owner in Little Rock who put a lifetime of savings into one small dream. It is the student whose parents gave up everything so their child could have more.

And for Arkansas businesses, there is a different question: How do we reach a world that feels so far away?

The Arkansas-Asia Business Council exists to answer both questions with one word: together.

This year, together, we built something real.

At Pathway to Success, high school seniors stood before a room of younger students and shared the paths that brought them here, while professionals explained why they chose to build their lives in Arkansas.

At our regional meetups in Central, South, and Northwest Arkansas, neighbors met neighbors, many for the very first time.

On the Arkansas Asia Trail, families discovered the Asian-owned businesses that make our state richer.

And at East Meets West, we welcomed the Lunar New Year as one Arkansas.

None of this happened by accident. It happened because people like you decided that no one should have to build a new life alone.

This Day of Giving, we are asking 250 people to stand with us.

Every gift, whether $25 or $2,500, says the same thing: You belong here, and we are building this bridge together.

In 2027, your gift will help a student find a first job in Arkansas, help a small business owner meet a first major customer, and welcome the next family who arrives with a suitcase and a dream.

The bridge between Arkansas and Asia is built one person at a time.

Today, that person is you.
