Grant was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition called FOXG1 Syndrome in December of 2025. This condition affects early brain development and leads to significant physical, cognitive and neurological challenges. His path will not be an easy one; things like communicating and moving independently may always require extra support. This fundraiser will help support his ongoing medical expenses, necessary medical equipment he needs and possible future treatments.

While FOXG1 itself is not considered life-threatening, the complications that come with it can be. Respiratory illnesses pose serious risks. Grant’s epilepsy adds another layer of concern, as seizures can be sudden and unpredictable. In January, he was hospitalized for a week with RSV - a powerful reminder of how fragile his health can be.

Grant’s journey is just beginning, and while the road ahead will have challenges, it will also be filled with moments of strength, resilience, and hope. With the support of family, friends, and a compassionate community, Grant will have the opportunity to reach his fullest potential in his own way.

Your support goes far beyond a donation - it helps provide the care, therapies, and specialized equipment Grant needs, while also giving his family the ability to focus on what matters most: loving him, supporting him, and celebrating every milestone along the way.
