How this fundraiser came about:

Hi my name is Sara Witsch and I'm a Bay Area artist.

Growing up in California, this definitely isn't the first devastating fire season I've witnessed. This year, watching the west coast suffer and community members be displaced from their homes while also in the midst of a global pandemic, has made me personally feel extremely helpless. I received financial help at the beginning of the pandemic by many strangers in the community and again from family and friends as I navigate starting a small business. I've personally seen the change we can make simply by coming together as a community. This is why I've decided to facilitate this fundraiser to help raise aid for those affected! I hope you will help me give back to the community and share the love.
