Dear Arts & Scraps Community,

We're embarking on a transformative journey with our ongoing campaign, "Scraps Won’t Cost a Thing," and we're grateful to have you by our side. This initiative initially aimed to make our Community Store a pay-what-you-can model, responding to the challenges posed by inflation and the rising costs of creative materials.

However, your feedback has shown us that this direction may not align with the collective vision of our community, and we are listening. Your honesty and openness are the greatest gifts we receive, fostering a spirit of transparency and collaboration.

As we shift our focus, we're excited to present a new direction for the campaign—an End of the Year Push with a goal of $20,000. This financial milestone is crucial for securing a better and more secure 2024 for Arts & Scraps. Your support ensures that we can continue fostering creativity, providing unique materials, and serving as a hub for inspiration in the coming year.

Notably, any in-store donations made during this period will be directed towards the store scholarship, reinforcing our commitment to accessibility. This means that the original mission of the campaign—to make creative materials more accessible to all—remains intact.

Here's how you can be a part of this journey:

Donate: Your contributions, big or small, directly contribute to our End of the Year Goal. Every dollar brings us closer to a more vibrant and resilient Arts & Scraps in 2024.
Spread the Word: Share this campaign with friends, family, and fellow creatives. Your voice amplifies our mission, fostering a wider community of support.
Visit the Store: If you're in the area, drop by our Community Store and make in-store donations. Your contributions will directly support the store scholarship, ensuring that the spirit of creativity is accessible to everyone.
Volunteer: Join us in shaping the future of Arts & Scraps. Your time and skills contribute to the vibrant community we're building together.

Let's make the end of 2023 a momentous occasion, securing a brighter future for Arts & Scraps and the creative individuals we serve. Thank you for being an integral part of our community, and we look forward to continuing this journey of creativity and resilience with you.

With heartfelt gratitude,

The Arts & Scraps Team
