The Scioto County Treasurer's office is in dire need of new leadership, integrity, vision, and courage to make tough decisions for the betterment of the county. Current policies and apathy have resulted in a staggering financial deficiency of over 13 million dollars, which directly and indirectly affects all essential services relied upon by the community. This includes local schools, firefighters, EMS, townships responsible for road maintenance, and more. I am stepping up to run for the position of Scioto County Treasurer, with a strong commitment to drive positive changes and restore financial stability to the region.

My Family is My Greatest Achievement

When I was just 17, I married my childhood sweetheart and it has been my greatest blessing. God has bestowed upon us four wonderful children and two lovely grandchildren. This year marks our 40th wedding anniversary, and I am grateful for every moment of it. Although our children Vicki, Tyler, Ashlynn and Zack are grown-ups, they still bring us immense joy and happiness.

I am a proud alumnus of Shawnee State University, having graduated in 1992 as part of the first class to receive Bachelor's degrees. After earning my Bachelor of Arts degree, I pursued a career in social work and obtained my license. For the past two decades, however, I have been a prominent figure in the real estate industry. My expertise spans a wide range of topics, from taxes and investments to property management home lending and banking. As the owner and broker of Sandlin Realtors in Portsmouth, Ohio, I have successfully expanded the business to three states: Ohio, Kentucky, and Florida.

My dedication to the real estate field has not gone unnoticed. In 2019, I was awarded the prestigious Graduate of Real Estate Institute designation from the National Association of Realtors. This designation is an honor that fewer than 15% of all realtors ever receive.
