LCTW changes lives, both human and wildlife.

WE HAVE UNTIL THE END OF JANUARY TO REACH OUR GOAL AND WE CAN DO IT!

READ BELOW for more information on what we do and how you can help.

First, we must meet Verbena, a critically endangered red-shanked douc langur who was living in the forest with her troop when she was suddenly ripped from her mother's lifeless body and forced into a small birdcage. She was being trafficked across the country. Her life was destined to be spent in a small cage, poked and prodded by her human "caretakers" or dead on a market table.

BUT, actions matter, and the Lao government officials saw her, confiscated her, and brought her to LCTW.

Today, Verbena is sassy and growing at LCTW. Unfortunately, for thousands of others, the ending is not a happy one. They may end up as someone's dinner, used for medicinal purposes, or kept in a tiny cage until the day they die.

LCTW, or Lao Conservation Trust for Wildlife, is based in Laos, and we rescue, rehabilitate, and release wildlife that has been illegally trafficked and traded. Today, only two organizations in the country rescue all species from the illegal trade. And it's a big job!

But where do you come in? And why are we doing this campaign!?

We are doing this campaign because, like Verbena, our work and lives were suddenly upended.

With no notice, we received information that we had to move our entire site and animals.

To continue our critical work of conserving Laos' wildlife and educating the people about the importance of conserving wildlife this earth, we need your support.

We will not survive without your support. We have until the end of January raise our money and by using your voice, it can easily be done. See below!

What can you do? What does "Support" mean?

Your voice is how you can support. Every single conversation about LCTW, every share on social media, and every dollar you donate matters.

We NEED YOUR VOICE to speak of LCTW and how even the smallest donations will save LCTW and wildlife all over Laos.

You can support us by donating the price of a coffee ($5) and then ask FIVE of your friends to do the same!

Speak about Verbena and LCTW. Link friends to our campaign and social pages.

Most importantly, don't let the message and our cause end with you!

Simply by donating the amount of one "coffee", speaking of our exciting work to FIVE friends, and having your friends do the same, it only takes 9 cycles for our message and campaign to reach over 1,000,000 people and $1,000,000 which will save LCTW! YAY MATH!

You have the power to save LCTW and the Verbenas of this world.
