Before the war started, my family had two farms, one that we owned and the other that we rented for five years and prepared from scratch. We planted the old farm with potatoes and the new one with strawberries. We grew an abundance of food from the generous land, established a full solar irrigation system that also served the fields of nearby farmers and created a thriving farm.

In Gaza, my family lived a life full of ambition and dreams. The land was our life, our happiness, and our way to live in peace in a life full of wars. Our farm was our way to education and university studies and it supported us at all times. After a long life of fatigue and suffering to reach stability to live the best life after years of effort and work, the war came and changed everything. Our agricultural project was destroyed and our house was bombed and destroyed. We became displaced, homeless and unemployed. During this time, my close friend, Yousef Abu Rabee, continued to farm our family's land, until he was martyred (May God have mercy on him) and our land was destroyed by the occupation.

Despite all the difficulties, our family will rise to farm again.

I, Majdi, have created this link to ask for help to rebuild our lives. We look forward to your help to ensure a better, safer and more stable life, away from the vastness of wars and destruction.
