More Than a Masquerade. More Than a Night Out.

On the surface, our Masquerade & Halloween Bash is an evening filled with music, laughter, costumes, delicious food, games, and unforgettable memories. But behind every mask is something even more meaningful, a community coming together to ensure that no survivor has to face domestic or sexual violence alone.

For more than 40 years, the Eastern Shore Coalition Against Domestic Violence has been the only organization on Virginia's Eastern Shore dedicated to providing safety, advocacy, and hope for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Every day, our advocates answer crisis calls, provide emergency shelter, accompany survivors to court and the hospital, offer counseling and children's services, and help individuals and families rebuild their lives with dignity and support.

These services are only possible because of people like you.

When you purchase a ticket, sponsor the event, or make a donation, you're doing so much more than attending a Halloween celebration. You're helping provide a safe place for someone fleeing abuse. You're helping a child experience stability after trauma. You're helping a survivor find the strength and resources to start over. You're helping ensure that when someone on the Eastern Shore reaches out for help, there is someone there to answer.

Domestic and sexual violence affect our friends, neighbors, coworkers, and family members. While these conversations can be difficult, healing begins when a community chooses to stand together. That's exactly what this event is about.

So, on Friday, October 30, we invite you to put on your favorite costume or masquerade mask and join us for an evening of fun with a purpose. Prepare for an evening where elegance meets Halloween fun! Guests are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite Halloween costume or formal masquerade attire for a night full of entertainment, laughter, and community. Enjoy music from Astro Event Company, as you dance the night away, be amazed by live magic performances, capture memories in our photo booth, test your luck with games, and compete in our costume contest for exciting prizes. Delicious food and beverages will be available throughout the evening, along with surprises around every corner. Whether you're coming with friends, family, or your significant other, our Masquerade & Halloween Bash promises a memorable night filled with fun, all while supporting a cause that truly changes lives on Virginia's Eastern Shore.

Together, we can create a community where every person has the opportunity to live free from fear, violence, and abuse.

Thank you for helping us turn one unforgettable evening into hope, healing, and a safer tomorrow.
