Course Description

Riyāḍ al-Ṣāliḥīn is one of the most widely read and cherished collections of hadith in the Islamic tradition, known for its focus on the inner and outer dimensions of a believer’s life.

This course begins with the foundational sections of the text, exploring essential themes such as sincerity, repentance, patience, truthfulness, reliance upon Allah, and mindfulness. These teachings form the basis of sound character and spiritual development, shaping how a Muslim approaches worship, relationships, and daily conduct.

Through guided study and reflection, students will engage with selected hadith and explore their meanings and practical relevance. The course emphasizes not only understanding the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ, but also applying them in a way that cultivates consistency, self-awareness, and growth.

This study serves as a gateway to the broader text, grounding students in the core principles that underlie a life of faith and practice.
