The Story of Adorned in Armor

From winning Best Dressed all throughout school to becoming a fashion editor at Cosmopolitan, style has always been Tarah-Lynn Saint-Elien’s language. And through it, God was stitching together a calling far greater, one that would merge her passion for fashion with her purpose in Him.

While studying Communication Studies and English at Rider University, Tarah-Lynn launched a blog during one of the hardest seasons of her life. As her mother faced ongoing health challenges, and after hearing a message from Dr. Charles Stanley about spiritual warfare, she was inspired to name it Adorned in Armor, a reminder that while we dress for battle, God has already won the war. From the start, its heartbeat was clear: to merge faith and fashion into a bold platform that equips women to live as royal warriors fashioned to conquer battles with Christ.

What began as a class assignment quickly grew into a global movement. Within a year, Adorned in Armor was voted Best International Fashion Blog finalist in the 2014 Cosmopolitan UK Blog Awards. Since then, Tarah-Lynn has become a sought-after voice at the intersection of faith and fashion, collaborating with major brands, building a vibrant online community, and inspiring thousands of women to embrace both their style and their spiritual armor.

Over the years, Adorned in Armor has expanded beyond digital content into community impact: sponsoring proms and scholarships for young women, hosting confidence sessions, and creating spaces for women to grow spiritually and audaciously pursue their dreams.

Today, Adorned in Armor is more than a blog; it is a kingdom-based nonprofit organization dedicated to equipping women to confidently embrace their purpose, conquer battles with the full armor of God, and fearlessly live out the good news.

From a digital platform in 2013 to a recognized nonprofit in 2025, Adorned in Armor is just getting started.
