Coach Tony Brown and Coach Jake Dunne are competing in the Great World Race in 2025. It is 183 miles in SEVEN consecutive days on SEVEN CONTINENTS! Tony and Jake are doing these CRAZY shenanigans to raise money and awareness for ICT SOS! We are so thankful for their amazing continued support!

It is one of the world's hardest, most challenging race competitions— 26.2 miles, on seven different continents, on seven (consecutive) days.

The first marathon takes place in Antarctica. (Brrr!) From there, it’s off to Cape Town, South Africa, Perth Australia, and then to Istanbul, Turkey where you run one marathon in Asia, and one in Europe. The final two marathons take place in Cartagena, Columbia, and Miami Florida.

This is the ultimate test of endurance as not only do they run 183.4 miles in seven days, but they also do so on very little sleep in drastically different climates and time zones.

Tyler has made the selfless decision to step back from this year’s Great World Race so Tony and Jake can take the lead—and we couldn’t be more grateful! 🏃‍♂️💛

In an incredible show of support, Tyler’s paid-in-full registration costs are being transferred to Tony and Jake, helping them get closer to participating in the race and raising awareness and funds for ICT SOS. Beyond this, Tyler has generously contributed financially in honor of Jake’s mom, who we sadly lost this year, further supporting our mission to empower survivors of human trafficking and exploitation.

While Tyler won’t be running this year, his leadership, generosity, and encouragement set Tony and Jake up for success. Thank you, Tyler, for showing that cheering others on and giving back can be just as impactful as crossing the finish line yourself!

ICT SOS is a 501c3 nonprofit serving Wichita and beyond in the fight against human trafficking. We provide therapy and advocacy services to adult survivors, prevention education to middle and high school students, professional and community training opportunities, and resources such as our Fresh Start Bags and Clean Start Baskets.
