Beyond the Spectrum Special Education School is a nonprofit education center and therapeutic clinic dedicated to serving individuals ages 4-22 affected by autism, Down syndrome, SPD, ADHD, and related forms of neurodivergence in Sarasota, Manatee, and Charlotte Counties.

By providing individualized therapeutic and educational services and utilizing the expertise of our professionally trained staff, our goal is for each student to achieve their most meaningful potential in a positive and inclusive environment.

We understand that therapeutic and educational services are severely limited for students with developmental/intellectual disorders due to the number of providers available and their costs. To remedy this, we aim to provide all of these services at one location and at a financially manageable rate for families. We also aim to expand our clientele and serve more families in our community, and we are working to accomplish this by developing our adult vocational program called H.I.V.E., or Helping Individuals through Vocation & Enrichment.
