Every child deserves joy, stability, and the freedom to dream—but for many children who come to Camp Joy, these simple gifts feel out of reach. Whether facing the uncertainty of foster care, navigating medical challenges, or growing up in underserved communities, these kids carry burdens far too heavy for their young shoulders.

At Camp Joy, they find what every child deserves: hope.

How Does Camp Joy Create Hope?

A Safe Environment
For underserved children, those experiencing foster care, and children with unique medical challenges, Camp Joy offers a safe haven where they feel supported, accepted, and free to be themselves. It’s a space where they can set aside their struggles and dream of brighter tomorrows.
Overcoming Challenges
Through activities like climbing walls, team challenges, and nature hikes, kids face obstacles they may have thought impossible to overcome. These experiences help them build confidence, discover their inner strength, and realize they are capable of achieving more than they imagined.
Connection with Nature
For children facing difficult circumstances, the peace and beauty of the outdoors provide a sense of calm and wonder. At Camp Joy, connecting with nature sparks joy, soothes anxieties, and instills a renewed sense of hope and possibility.
Memorable Experiences
Moments like campfires, stargazing, and group adventures create lasting memories that stay with these children long after they leave camp. These experiences remind them that joy, laughter, and hope are always within reach, no matter their challenges.

This Giving Tuesday, help us bring Hope to More Children.

Hope is the light that helps kids see beyond their current struggles. It’s the courage to try, the comfort of belonging, and the joy of simply being a kid. This year, thanks to the generosity of people like you, more than 8,000 children and families found hope at Camp Joy, discovering the strength to heal, grow, and envision a brighter future.

Our goal this year is to raise $10,000 to bring the life-changing power of Camp Joy to even more children in need. Your support today ensures that every child who visits Camp Joy can experience moments of connection, resilience, and joy that will last a lifetime.
