National Breast Cancer Foundation – Military Patient Relief Fund

Breast cancer is a growing concern for U.S. veterans and military service members, with military women up to 40% more likely to develop breast cancer than civilians. Many veterans also face financial challenges that make timely treatment difficult to access.

The Military Patient Relief Fund, created by the National Breast Cancer Foundation in partnership with the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation, provides one-time grants of up to $1,000 to eligible service members and veterans diagnosed with breast cancer. These funds help cover essential expenses such as:

Transportation and childcare during treatment
Housing or rent support due to loss of income
Groceries to prevent food insecurity
Prescription co-pays and underinsured treatment costs

Through this program, NBCF ensures that veterans and service members can focus on healing without the added burden of financial stress.
