Grounded in the science of reading and powered by the Orton-Gillingham approach, we are equipping public school educators with the tools, training, and coaching they need to transform reading outcomes—especially for our most vulnerable learners.

By investing in teachers, we ensure that all students—not just a few—receive the explicit, evidence-based instruction they need to succeed.

Your Gift Makes Transformation Possible:

$50,000 – Fund a Partner School
Provide comprehensive Orton-Gillingham training and yearlong coaching for Kindergarten through Second Grade teachers and Reading Intervention in a school, impacting hundreds of students and driving measurable literacy gains. It typically takes two years to fully implement this initiative.

$5,000 – Sponsor a Teacher / Transform a Classroom
Supports the full preparation of one educator, including Orton-Gillingham training, practicum, and a year of instructional coaching. This investment equips a teacher with the skills to deliver instruction that can impact hundreds of students over time.

$2,000 – Provide Orton-Gillingham Coursework
Funds the accredited coursework portion of OGA Associate Level training, preparing an educator to deliver diagnostic and prescriptive reading intervention for students with persistent literacy challenges.

$1,250 – Fund a Summer Scholar
Provides individualized, diagnostic, and prescriptive tutoring for a student identified as a pupil in poverty. Through our partner schools, this intensive summer instruction ensures students who are gaining momentum in reading continue accelerating their progress.

$1,000 – Train a Teacher in Multisensory Structured Literacy
Supports a teacher’s participation in Multisensory Structured Literacy training, equipping them with practical tools to strengthen reading and writing instruction in the classroom.

$500 – Provide Training Materials for One Teacher
Equip teachers with high-quality materials that enhance instruction for all learners.

$200 – Sponsor Teacher Coaching Sessions
Fund a grade-level cohort coaching session with an OG coach. These sessions deepen content knowledge, sharpen instructional routines, and build strong implementation across an entire grade team.

$50 – Fund a Multisensory Toolkit
Cover the cost of multisensory materials for high need populations

$25 – Provide a Family Literacy Toolkit
Funds a take-home literacy toolkit for families through our Charleston County Public Library partnership. These kits equip parents and caregivers with simple, research-based tools to help children practice reading skills at home.
