For many older adults living alone, the hardest part of aging is not a health challenge or financial struggle. It is feeling invisible. Ms. Coates remembers when her days were filled with neighbors, family, and familiar conversation.

Now, she joins weekly programs with volunteers and neighbors where shared meals, creative projects, and practical workshops become opportunities to laugh, feel included, and build new friendships.

Ms. Coates is one of many older adults whose lives are changed by connection. When asked about her favorite memory from this year, she couldn't choose just one.

"When you are here, we always have a great time! You make us laugh every time you come. We always have so much fun with everybody."

For Ms. Coates and many others, it is not just the activities that matter. It is the people.

"The people who come here are always kind. They make sure to interact with everyone, they care about our well-being, and they care about getting to know us."

The relationships built through our programs create a welcoming environment where older adults know they belong. They are asked how they're doing. Their experiences are heard.

"You listen well. You always ask us what we think. You make sure everyone is included and having a good time."
