Our vision is to build resilient communities where well-being is nurtured through creative expression, play, and culturally inclusive support, empowering individuals to overcome adversity and thrive together without stigma.

Target Demographic
The Therapeutic Play Foundation serves all populations throughout the State of California, focusing on historically marginalized and under-resourced groups, children and families burdened by trauma, LGBTQ+, BIPOC communities, women and femme-presenting people, and individuals living with disabilities.

Programs Summary
The Therapeutic Play Foundation (TPF) offers a comprehensive range of programs focused on mental health and wellness, particularly for historically underserved communities. Incorporating alternative healing practices such as yoga, meditation, sound therapy, play, gardening, and art, TPF promotes holistic well-being across its four core programs: (1) STRTP, (2) ArtGard, (3) CalAIM, and (4) Healthcare Access. These programs serve diverse populations based on age group and key life events such as pregnancy, birth, trauma, or life transitions. Through solution-focused initiatives like Mommy Matters, Empowering Wellness, Daddy Counts, Creating Happy Futures, and Black Mental Health Task Force, participants receive short-term treatment and resources from community health workers, care managers, clinical consultants and passionate volunteers. Services are delivered virtually, in-office, in schools, and at community partner sites, with play, gardening, and creative expression as central modalities to foster resilience and comprehensive support.
