HOBY Rhode Island is a dynamic, all-volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering the next generation of leaders. Each year, we bring together outstanding high school sophomores from across the state for a transformative three-day leadership seminar at the University of Rhode Island. Through interactive workshops, inspiring speakers, and hands-on service projects, students develop critical thinking skills, connect with peers from diverse backgrounds, and gain the confidence to lead in their schools and communities. Run entirely by passionate volunteers—from college students to professionals—HOBY Rhode Island is committed to unlocking the leadership potential in every young person we serve.
