Kijabe Speech Therapy Team - Fall 2026

This past July, I had the privilege of serving in Kenya with Love Africa Mission where my heart and soul was forever changed. From walking the red dirt roads on home visits, painting with children in the juvenile center, serving in the hospital as an SLP — I saw Jesus in every face, every hand I held, every word spoken (and unspoken). While I was there, I saw an overwhelming need for speech therapy services and I left with a burden on my heart and a clear sense that God was calling me to do more. As my friend once told me “You’ve seen it, now you’re responsible.” My long-life prayer of combining my faith and God given abilities as an SLP are becoming a reality next October!! Love Africa Mission has invited me back to co-lead their very first speech therapy team alongside my best friend Hannah. This is such an honor to step into this role — to share knowledge and resources, but most importantly, to share the love of Jesus and spread His truth. This trip is just the beginning. I’ve seen firsthand how love, encouragement, and the simple act of teaching can ripple out to change lives. But I can’t do it alone!
