Currently, our future community center remains silent because its roof is severely damaged. Until it’s repaired, we cannot safely open our doors to provide the free services that families and Veterans in Kingsville deserve.

My name is Monica Longoria, founder of Coastal Bend Resource Center. I was inspired by my grandfather, a proud Veteran who often went without the help he deserved. Growing up, I saw how difficult it was for families to navigate social services alone. That’s why I started this nonprofit: to create a safe, welcoming hub where children, families, and Veterans can access free social services, mental health support, and community connection.

Our vision includes a Community Lounge, a comfortable, judgment-free space where people can drop in, enjoy a cup of coffee, talk with someone who cares, and find guidance toward the resources they need. We’ll also host community events, workshops, and support programs that bring people together and strengthen our town.

We’ve been blessed to receive a building to serve as our main hub, but before we can safely open, the roof and interior must be repaired.

Coastal Bend Resource Center is a registered nonprofit organization based in Kingsville, Texas. Our mission is to connect individuals, families, and Veterans with the social services and community resources they need to thrive.

Through outreach, education, and community support, we aim to build a stronger Coastal Bend, one where no one is left without help, hope, or guidance.

Our future community center will feature a Community Lounge, a safe and welcoming space where people can relax, connect, and access free assistance programs. The building will also host workshops, resource fairs, and events that strengthen families and support Veterans in need.

All donations to this campaign will directly fund critical building repairs and restoration, including roof and interior work, to prepare the center for safe public use.
