We welcome you to join our second monthly meeting of the Catholic Physician's Guild of San Antonio on Thursday April 24th, 2025.

We will begin the evening with 6 pm mass at Mission Concepción Catholic Church with Fr. Mwansa Godfrey.

At 6:30 we will meet at the adjacent Pope Francis Event Center for our dinner & then begin our talk at 7 pm on

The Physical, Mental, and Spiritual Gifts of Authentic Women's Health by Gerard Migeon & Jackie Aguilar of Natural Womanhood.

We are physician led (board and executive officers), but our membership and other leadership positions are open to ALL healthcare professionals, from chaplains, those in hospital ministry, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, social workers, medical assistants, researchers, and others... all who are interested in practicing healthcare from a fully Catholic perspective. We have the beautiful problem of having outgrown our space at St. Matthews, so will temporarily meet at other locations. Our next meeting will be Thursday May 22nd with speakers retired Bishop Pfeiffer & Lauren Stadelman who is the Director of Human Dignity and Pastoral Care for the archdiocese.

3/24 MEETING RECAP

We re-convened on March 24th at Holy Spirit to learn about forgiveness from a medical, physical, and spiritual perspective shared by Dr. Deacon Jose Santos. We had great engagement from our 52 attendees that included pharmacists, physician assistants, nurses, chaplains, physicians in primary care and in many specialties, medical students, counselors, educators, and members affiliated with laboratories and medical research. We raffled a door prize for members who paid their 2025 dues, started in on prayerfully discerning a patron saint & a new name for our guild as well as taking event suggestions & officer /leadership nominations. Please weigh in if you have not yet shared your ideas!
