For over a century, United Way has been a driving force for positive change in Clark, Champaign & Madison Counties. By fostering partnerships, mobilizing resources and investing in programs focused on education, financial stability and health, we've made a significant impact on our community. United Way brings together local organizations and resources to address complex challenges that no single entity can solve.

This past year, United Way invested $651,304 in our 3-county area and supported more than 30 non-profit programs. In our community, 1 in 7 people and 1 in 5 children face food insecurity. In the previous year, United Way funding enabled the distribution of over 3.8 million pounds of food to neighbors and provided more than 136,819 meals served to individuals.

Last year, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library provided 56,510 books to children from birth to age five in Clark County. Research indicates that children who have access to books and are read to regularly from a young age are more likely to develop strong reading skills leading to better academic performance and higher graduation rates.
