MustLuvBoxers Rescue is significantly expanding to better serve the community - humans and dogs alike. Our Rescue Center & Senior Sanctuary Capital Campaign will fund much-needed property development, new construction and improvements that will broaden our capacity to rescue more Boxers and create an all-new Senior Sanctuary.

Our Vision Includes:

A Welcome and Education Center
Intake and Training area
Spacious kennels
Large, fenced-in areas for the dogs to exercise and socialize

Adjacent to the rescue center will be the Senior Dog Sanctuary, a serene and nurturing environment specifically tailored for older Boxers. The sanctuary will feature cozy indoor spaces with soft bedding and warm lighting, as well as peaceful outdoor areas where the seniors can enjoy the fresh air and sunshine at their own pace. The goal is to create a home-like atmosphere where older dogs can live out their golden years with dignity and love.

PHASE 1

Leased Property (Fall 2022)

After years of operating as a foster based Boxer Rescue, we knew that we had to make a significant change if we were to keep up with the growing demands of our community and the sheer volume of Boxers needing to be rehomed.

PHASE 2

Demolition & Construction (Spring 2023)

The planning phase began with a simple idea, clear away the fallen trees, debris, and old fencing on the property. Volunteers cleared the property, built a shed, outdoor kennels and landscaped.

PHASE 3

Purchase Property (Fall 2024)

Thanks to the generous support of donors like you, our fundraising efforts for the new Rescue Center are progressing well. However, we still have a significant distance to cover to reach our goal by the end of the year.

We need your help keeping our dream alive…

Two years ago, we acquired a space for our Rescue Center & Senior Sanctuary. This 5-acre property is intended to serve as a haven for senior or unadoptable Boxers to live out their lives through kennel runs, expansive play space, and much more.

We are currently in a lease-to-own contract and have poured around $100,000 worth of resources and equipment into creating a place where love, care, and rehabilitation will thrive.

But we are in jeopardy of losing the property, which is why we need your help!

Due to changing circumstances, we must purchase the property by December 24, 2024. The total cost of the property is $600,000 and we are $250,000 short. As the Founder, I have been pre-approved for a loan to purchase, but $250,000 remains unfunded. If we don’t raise this amount, we will have to move off the property and our long-time dream of giving Boxers the second chance they deserve will vanish.
