Seek is for the youth

Knock is for the barriers we break and systems we rebuild to alleviate burdens of poverty in our communities.

This Summer our Seekers got to explore their communities and surrounding areas, they engage in art and cultural activities, dedicated their time and resources to the less fortunate, created our first resource book featuring 60 organizations that serve the homeless, families and youth in need.

Some of our youth even took a trip to Berkeley Law School in California in October for a social justice convening to discuss issues around youth criminalization.

All of this has been possible through the support of community partners and organizations that afforded us the opportunity and access to their spaces and resources.

However some challenges we face included but not limited to transportation and funding. Some of our youth were unable to participate in the California trip due to lack of funding. We had to cancel postpone or reschedule other trips we could not afford due to reliable transportation to the trip. Please support our Seekers so that we can continue to make meaningful impact through our monthly workshops and 6 week summer youth enrichment program.
