Our Story: Why 100 Women, $100 Each Matters

As the Founder of The Doyenne Agency and Chapter President of the Greater Phoenix Chapter of The Dames, I've seen firsthand how high-caliber women can spark transformation when we come together with purpose. We believe in the power of women to change communities and the world.

This year, our chapter is proud to launch the 100-for-100 Campaign: 100 women each giving $100. Together, we'll raise $10,000 to support two powerful organizations strengthening women, children, and families right here in Phoenix: Community on Purpose and Village of the Valley.

Why Community on Purpose?

Community on Purpose exists to create meaningful opportunities for connection and service while meeting real needs in our local community. Their mission is simple but profound: community doesn't just happen—it happens on purpose.

What $100 does: Your gift could buy craft supplies for a family night at ICAN, equip children with disabilities through Branching Out with back-to-school backpacks, provide transportation for a struggling scholar in the Positive Paths program, or sponsor birthday wish gifts for children in foster care at ASA Now.
The impact: At one ICAN event, Community on Purpose founder, Mindy Jones sat with a little girl working on a craft project. Through play, the child opened up about the loss of her uncle and her love for him despite his struggles. That moment of creation became a moment of healing. Stories like hers remind us why this work matters, not just to the children served, but also to the volunteers whose lives are touched as they serve.

Why Village of the Valley?

Village of the Valley provides free transformational coaching, workshops, and support groups for women overcoming the effects of abuse. They walk alongside women in a 12-month journey of healing, growth, and empowerment, helping them rebuild confidence, set healthy boundaries, and rediscover their worth.

One of our ambassadors, who experienced this program firsthand, shared why she nominated Village of the Valley: "Abuse, whether overt or subtle misuse of power, leaves lasting wounds." Village of the Valley creates a safe, empowering space where women can begin again. This work isn't only for women with tragic stories, but for any woman who has ever struggled to reclaim her voice, her boundaries, and her worth.

What $100 does: Your gift funds a full month of one-on-one coaching sessions for a woman ready to take her next step toward healing and wholeness.
