Ten years of service. Ten years of impact. Ten years of joy. And we are just getting started.

I Serve with Joy was built on a simple belief: that kindness shows up in many ways. It shows up when someone donates $20 because they believe in something bigger than themselves. It shows up when a volunteer gives their Saturday to pack hygiene kits for families who need them. It shows up when a community comes together — not because they have to, but because they want to.

This October, we celebrate 10 years of that showing up. Ten years of baby showers, back-to-school drives, Fresh Start kits, Joy Markets, and thousands of individual acts of care delivered to more than 500 women, children, and individuals every single year.And right now — the need is growing faster than ever.

Gas prices are up. Grocery bills are higher. Families who were already stretched thin are being stretched further. The people we serve are not asking for handouts — they are asking for a hand. And that is exactly what we intend to give.

“We are not just raising funds. We are moving love into homes. Every dollar has a name, a child, a family behind it.”

So this May, we are launching our most ambitious campaign yet: 1,000 Acts of Joy.One thousand moments of generosity, big and small, from May all the way through our grand finale anniversary celebration in October. We are counting every act — every donation, every share, every volunteer hour, every meal ordered at Mex 1, every ticket purchased. Every single one counts.

The journey starts May 1. And we need you.

HOW TO ADD YOUR ACT

Joy does not look the same for everyone — and that is the point. Here is how you can be part of the 1,000:

• Donate — every dollar is an act of joy. Give $20 or $250 — it all moves us forward.

• Share — post it, tag someone, spread the joy. Use #1000ActsOfJoy #iServeWithJoy

• Volunteer — give your time. Show up. That is an act of joy too. Email IServeWithJoy@gmail.com

• Shop — come out to our events and support the cause in person.

• Dine — order the featured dish and drink at Mex 1 all month long.

• May 1 — Senior Day

• All of May — Mex 1 donates a portion of featured dish proceeds to iServeWithJoy

• May 31 — Joy Market at Mex 1 (in-person event)

• October 2026 — Grand Finale: 10-Year Anniversary Celebration

We are not asking you to change the world by yourself. We are asking you to add one act. One act of generosity. One act of love. One act of joy.
