First time I've asked for help. Please read these few sentences - I don't write often. I took up golf over 60 years ago as an early teen...self-taught. Found over the years that wasn't the correct method of learning. So - bad golf for over 60 years - but I still enjoyed hitting the ball. Moved to Charleson in 2015, Hip replacement in 2020 and thanks to a neighbor and dear friend was introduced to PGA HOPE that year. I'd never heard of PGA HOPE - a 6-7 week clinic for U.S. Veterans. Teaches golf to those new to golf, those with a war injury and those more advanced. Two hours each week - FREE. It has provided a needed outlet for memories of combat. Instruction and immediate camaraderie with other veterans. These clinics - and additional lessons - have brought me from the high 90s to the low 80s - over eighteen months.
