Tracy McCullen's Story

As self-appointed ‘Ambassador’ for the Community Boys & Girls Club of Wilmington, I am always looking for ways to help the young people of our community, especially the underserved community, to reach their full potential by providing them with unique opportunities. So, I've designed a one-of-a-kind ‘TRACK of Optimism & FIELD of Dreams’ where kids and young adults will be surrounded with audio and visual stimulation promoting a healthy lifestyle and a positive mindset while they run on the TRACK of Optimism and/or play on the FIELD of Dreams obstacle course which includes the Great Achievers Summit above the Global Stage of Imagination (amphitheater) surrounded by the Great Wall of Motivation featuring historic and contemporary great achievers with both written & audible  quotes promoting kids to pursue their dreams with passion & perseverance while living a life of excellence at home & in their community.

Together we can build this ‘Track of Optimism & Field of Dreams’ with your generous donations and especially by spreading the word throughout southeastern North Carolina as this extraordinary health &  fitness environment will be available to EVERYONE with a desire to pursue a healthy mind, body & spirit!

Profound gratitude for your support!

Sincerely,

Tracy McCullen

Artist, Athlete, Adventurer &

Ambassador for the Community Boys & Girls Club

TEAM NOTES:

Our team includes the ‘Engineer of Greatness’ and President of the Board of Director’s at the Community Boys & Girls Club, Michael Long. We are also privileged to have the very dedicated & illustrious Beth Ann Soporoski who has been extremely valuable with the marketing of our ambitious project. We are also privileged to have a brilliant UNCW doctoral student, Peyton Thomas, who is also helping develop this project and will teach and mentor young kids of the Northside community when the track and field are complete. Peyton is working towards her PhD in Biology and Marine Biology and is the 4th fastest American-born Black woman in US marathon history. In this world of infinite possibilities, Peyton will inspire today’s young, diverse generation to push beyond their conditioned limitations to grow into their true selves, the people they want to be, while pursuing their dreams with passion and perseverance.
