By purchasing this ticket and participating in the 10th House Education Foundation, you agree to the following:

1. Express Assumption of Risk

I voluntarily elect to participate in the inaugural 10th House Education Foundation Charity 5K and fun run (the "Event"). I understand and acknowledge that a 5K race involves inherent risks of property damage, illness, severe personal injury, or death. These risks include, but are not limited to: falls; slips; collisions with other participants, spectators, or vehicles; effects of weather (extreme heat, humidity, rain, cold); dehydration; cardiac arrest; traffic; and surface conditions of the course (e.g., potholes, uneven pavement, gravel, debris). I knowingly, freely, and expressly assume all risks associated with my participation in the Event, both known and unknown, even if arising from the ordinary negligence of the Releasees.

2. Release of Liability and Covenant Not to Sue

In consideration for being permitted to participate in the Event, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby irrevocably release, waive, and forever discharge the 10th House Education Foundation, its officers, directors, employees, sponsors, volunteers, agents, and local municipalities (collectively, the "Releasees"), from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, personal injury, illness, or death that may be sustained by me, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or otherwise, while participating in, traveling to, or traveling from the Event. I covenant and agree that I will not initiate any lawsuit or legal proceeding against the Releasees regarding any claims released herein.

3. Participant Fitness and Medical Consent

I represent and warrant that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained to complete this Event safely. If I require medical treatment during the Event, I hereby consent to receive first aid, emergency medical care, or transportation deemed necessary by race officials. I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for all costs associated with such medical care and transport.

4. Governing Law and Severability

This agreement shall be construed broadly to provide a release to the maximum extent permissible under the laws of the State of Ohio. If any portion of this agreement is held invalid or unenforceable by an Ohio court, the remaining terms shall continue in full legal force and effect.

5. Photo and Media Release

I give permission to the race organizers to take and use my picture, video, name, and race time in photos, TV, or the internet for any legal and public use without payment to me.

10th House Inaugural Charity 5K

Walk, jog, or RUN for a great cause. The 10th House Education Foundation in Collaboration with OUR Run Club is hosting its first annual 5K fun run to bring raise funds for deserving students in the central Ohio area.
