Ten years ago, Shine began with a dream: that every child, no matter their background, could experience the joy, confidence, and belonging that theater creates.

Today, Shine is the largest tuition-free children’s theater in North Texas, serving hundreds of families every year through full-scale musicals, training programs, and a faith-based, family-friendly environment.

This fall, we’re celebrating 10 years of kids finding their spotlight. But more importantly, we’re building Shine’s future. With your help, we can raise $85,000 in September 2025 to keep our shows tuition-free and expand our impact for the next decade.

A youth theatre focused on community, faith, and artistic excellence.

Shine was established in 2015, by Founder and Executive Director, Claire McNeill. Claire’s deep interest in the intersection of faith and the arts, and background in community development led her to create a new kind of theater that could be a safe haven for youth in Plano, TX. From very humble beginnings, this dream has been realized beyond Claire’s expectations and continues to grow today.
