16mm Petting Zoo Saturday November 14 12:00 - 2:00PM

At Whammy! Analog Media 1200 N Alvarado Street, Suite D

The 16mm Petting Zoo is a donation-suggested event for you to learn about and practice some essential manual skills for shooting, developing, and exhibiting 16mm film. This workshop is designed to bridge the gap between our many workshops and give you time to practice skills. This is also a great workshop if you used to shoot 16mm film and want to practice or if you’re curious about analog filmmaking and want a low-stakes environment to try!

Please note this is not a full workshop, it is a chance to explore and practice skills. For workshops on shooting on 16mm or Super 8, Developing, and Projection please visit give butter.com/tape-collective.

Stations with TAPE volunteers can guide you through:

Loading a Bolex with 16mm Film
Threading a 16mm Projector
Loading a Lomo Tank for home developing

A suggested donation tier is available when you RSVP. Donations help us to keep our low-cost equipment rental running.
