Dear Friends,

As the seasons change and the days grow shorter, many older adults look forward to spending time with friends and loved ones.

For older adults living along, those moments of connection can be hard to find.

Ms. Connor looks forward to joining weekly programs where shared meals, creative activities, and time spent with friends bring laughter and joy to her week.

Ms. Connor is one of many older adults who have found a sense of community through LBFE Boston's programs.

When asked what she enjoys most, she shared:

"I like coming down here. It gets my mind off of everything. When I'm here, I don't have to think about anything else. I just focus on what we are doing, and hearing people laugh. They say laughter is the best medicine, but I didn't really understand that until I got older. Now I get it."

For Ms. Connor and many others, it is not just the activities that matter. It is the joy of being together.

The sound of laughter filling the room. The comfort of familiar faces. The feeling of belonging to a community that welcomes everyone.

The relationships built through our programs create a place where older adults can relax, connected, and enjoy meaningful moments with others.

Your generosity makes these moments possible.

By supporting LBFE Boston, you help ensure that older adults, many of whom live alone, have opportunities for friendship, companionship, and joy throughout the year.

Please consider making a gift to help us reach even more older adults who are living alone. Today, Ms. Connor finds friendship, laughter, and belonging because of supporters like you.

Thank you for helping create a community where no one has to age alone.
