BFF.fm is more than radio. It’s a home for discovery, connection, and joy. You can rely on BFF.fm to connect you to the local musicians, artists, thinkers, and creatives making San Francisco a better place. That's our mission! We amplify the voices of local artists and musicians who are underrepresented in mainstream media. We provide opportunities for Bay Area DJs from all walks of life to learn, experiment, and gain real-world experience in radio in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Together, we're building something magical: a community where creativity thrives and everyone belongs.

And here's the truth: none of this happens without you. After all, every single one of our more than 100 radio shows—each hilarious talk break, fascinating interview, in-studio performance, plus those perfect moments when you stumble upon your new favorite song—is made possible through your generosity!

It costs about $1,000 a year to keep just one show on the air. As we celebrate our 12th birthday, our goal is to raise $5,000 so we can amplify local voices, build community, and bring more music into your life.
