13th Annual Fur Ball

For more than six decades, Animal Charity of Ohio has been a lifeline for abused, neglected, and abandoned companion animals throughout the Mahoning Valley. Our mission has always been rooted in compassion, providing a voice for the voiceless and offering hope to animals who have nowhere else to turn.

This past year has been one of the most challenging chapters in our organization's history. Rising operational costs, an overwhelming demand for services, and significant financial struggles have forced us to make difficult decisions, including the heartbreaking suspension of our humane investigations. These challenges have reminded us just how fragile the safety net for vulnerable animals in our community can be—and how important it is to protect it.

But even in the face of adversity, our commitment to the animals has never wavered.

Every day, our dedicated staff, volunteers, and supporters continue to provide shelter, medical care, compassion, and second chances to the animals who depend on us. And while the challenges have been significant, they have also inspired us to find new ways to build a stronger, more sustainable future.

One of the most exciting steps toward that future is the anticipated opening of our Flagship Thrift Store. More than simply a new storefront, this initiative represents hope, resilience, and a commitment to creating a dependable source of revenue to support our shelter, medical services, and the eventual restoration of our humane investigations. Our goal is to build an organization that can continue serving the Mahoning Valley for generations to come.

The 13th Annual Fur Ball is more than a fundraising event. It is an opportunity to celebrate the lives we have touched, recognize the community that has stood beside us through difficult times, and look ahead with renewed optimism.

Your sponsorship, attendance, and generosity are investments in the future of animal welfare in the Mahoning Valley. Every contribution helps us continue caring for animals in need while working toward a future in which we can once again respond to cruelty and neglect throughout our community.

We invite you to join us for an unforgettable evening of generosity, community, and celebration as we honor our past, acknowledge the challenges of today, and embrace the promise of a brighter tomorrow.

Because even during our most difficult moments, Hope Happens Here. Together, we can turn today's challenges into tomorrow's opportunities—and ensure that hope continues to happen here.
