Since KIC-IT began in 2011, we have been committed to making sure no young person experiencing homelessness in Johnson County has to face their challenges alone.

Over the years, we have walked alongside countless young people, meeting them where they are and helping them move toward where they want to be. So far in 2026, we have already served more than 150 young people in need.

We provide the essentials: food, hygiene products, clothing, and other basic needs but our work goes far beyond meeting immediate needs. Through Youth Development Coaching, we help young people identify their goals, build confidence, and create a path toward a brighter future. For those ready to take the next step, we provide transitional housing and the stability they need to change the direction of their lives. We also offer financial assistance for rent, security deposits, eviction prevention, and other critical expenses that can make the difference between housing and homelessness.

This year, we are celebrating 15 years of breaking cycles and building futures with a goal of raising $15,000 for 15 years of impact.

Your gift will help ensure that KIC-IT can continue showing up when young people need us most. It will help put food on a table, provide a safe place to sleep, prevent an eviction, open the door to stable housing, and give a young person the encouragement and resources they need to believe in what comes next.

For 15 years, our community has helped us remind young people that their circumstances do not define their future.

Together, we can make sure no young person has to wonder, “Where am I sleeping tonight?”

Help us raise $15,000 for 15 years—and give young people in Johnson County the opportunity to move from surviving to thriving.
