By signing up for our summer camp, you can learn to play a string instrument and also help us with our classes during the regular school year and other concerts and events.

Fredericksburg Community Orchestras is a non profit based in Fredericksburg, Texas. The mission of Fredericksburg Community Orchestras is to promote string education and performances in Fredericksburg and the surrounding communities.

Our Beginner Boot Camps are designed to get you through the basic steps of starting a string instrument in an efficient and fun way. Most students who begin with this type of camp get farther than many students taking only a once weekly private lessons for a semester.

Some violins are available to borrow for the week and rentals are available through Terra Nova Violins for approximately $25.00 per month. (Instruments must be appropriately sized for each child.) Cellos are only available from Terra Nova in San Antonio.

Event costs $150 per person participating.
