For more than 30 years, the Orlando Minority Youth Golf Association (OMYGA) has been a pillar of opportunity, mentorship, and empowerment in the heart of the Callahan Neighborhood. Established in 1991, OMYGA was born out of a commitment to introduce minority and urban youth to the game of golf—an arena traditionally closed to many—and to transform that access into excellence both on and off the course.

From our humble beginnings, OMYGA has served as more than a golf program—it’s been a launchpad for character development, academic success, and life skills for thousands of young people. Nestled in one of Orlando’s most historic urban communities, we’ve bridged cultural and economic gaps by instilling discipline, confidence, and a sense of belonging through golf.

2025 marks a celebration of over three decades of impact—impact that can be felt in high school graduates, college scholarship recipients, young professionals, and community leaders who once picked up a club for the first time at OMYGA.
